Outlaw Monte Clovis comes to Kingdale to settle some business. He's come to claim his woman, Mary, and the child she was carrying when he was sent to the hoosegow. Monte wants a shoot out with his former best friend, Cal, who married to Mary and has since "gone straight." Meanwhile, Monte's old gang rides into town to hold up the bank.
